1 person injured after an auto-pedestrian crash on Tucson’s Southside (Tucson, AZ)

On Thursday, one person suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Tucson’s Southside.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash occurred on West Viaduct Ingresso and South Mission Road. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck one person for reasons that are yet to be known. Officials asked the drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews worked at the scene.

The accident led to traffic delays in the area. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. It is also not known if the vehicle that hit the victim stayed at the scene or not after the collision. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under active review.
