1 person injured after an auto-pedestrian collision in Augusta (Augusta, GA)

One person was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Augusta.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place on Wrightsboro Road in front of the Augusta Mall. The preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.

At this time, it is unconfirmed if the victim was transported to the hospital. The condition of the patient is also not known. The identity of the pedestrian has not been revealed. Some lanes of traffic might be closed, according to the early reports. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
