One person received injuries following a traffic collision Monday afternoon in the Valencia industrial center.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the intersection of Avenue Scott and Rye Canyon Road in Valencia just before noon Monday in response to a two-vehicle crash. One person was taken to the hospital.
The extent of injuries sustained by the victim remains unknown at this time. Two vehicles were blocking eastbound lanes of Rye Canyon Road, resulting in major traffic delays in the area. The identity of the victim has not been released. No further details are available.
An investigation is underway.
