1 person injured after a traffic collision in Santa Clarita (Santa Clarita, CA)

One person received injuries after a traffic collision Tuesday in Santa Clarita.

As per the initial information, the rollover crash took place in the 17200 block of Sierra Highway near the COC Canyon Country campus. The officers actively responded to the scene at about 10 a.m. According to the authorities, no one was trapped in the crash.

One person was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. A concrete barrier several feet up an embankment also had damage due to the collision, according to witnesses on scene. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are available.

The accident remains under investigation.
