On Tuesday, one person suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Spokane Valley.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place on Valleyway Avenue and Mullan Road. The preliminary investigation showed that the driver of the van was heading east on Valleyway when they pulled over at the stop sign. As the driver went north to cross Mullan, the van slammed into the motorcycle.
On arrival, emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van stayed at the scene and remained unharmed in the accident. Mullan Road between E Main Avenue and E Valleyway Avenue was initially closed, but has since reopened. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
