One person was injured following a traffic accident Wednesday in the Castaic area.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area at The Old Road and Hillcrest Parkway in Castaic after getting reports of a motorcycle crash at about 4:56 p.m. On arrival, first responders rushed the motorcyclist by ambulance to the hospital.
The current condition of the victim remains unknown at this time. The events that have led up to the accident also remain unclear. It is also not known if any other vehicles were involved in the collision. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
