One person received injuries after a crash Tuesday in East LA.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at about 1:30 a.m. on the 710 Freeway, close to the Whittier Boulevard. The early reports showed that a car ended up in an embankment with one person pinned inside. On arrival, emergency responders worked to extricate the occupant from the wreckage.
The victim was then taken to the hospital in unknown condition. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. The identity of the victim has not been released. No other details are available.
The accident remains under investigation.
