On Thursday, one person suffered injuries following a crash between two big rigs on Highway 58.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle wreck took place at approximately 12:30 p.m. east of Broome Road near Tehachapi. According to the officials, one big rig was loaded with wine, and parked on the shoulder when it got struck by another big rig carrying broccoli.
One of the drivers received moderate injuries as a result of the crash. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
