On Sunday night, one person suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Oildale.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place on North Chester Avenue and Harding Avenue shortly after 10:30 p.m. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle hit a person for reasons that are yet to be known.
The driver of the involved vehicle left the scene after hitting the pedestrian. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the victim to a hospital with critical injuries. The identity of the pedestrian has not been revealed. No other details are immediately available.
