One person suffered critical injuries after getting struck by a vehicle in Bellingham.
As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of Lakeway Street and Yew Street after getting reports of an auto-pedestrian crash. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known. The identity of the patient has not been revealed.
Officials confirmed that the victim suffered critical injuries as a result of the crash. The roadway was shut down in both directions as crews worked at the scene. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
