1 person in critical condition after a vehicle strikes a power pole in Everett (Everett, WA)

On Sunday evening, one person suffered critical injuries after a vehicle crashed into a power pole in Everett.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Madison Street and Beverly Boulevard. The preliminary investigation showed that the driver failed to maintain control of their vehicle and struck a power pole at Madison and Beverly Boulevard.

Due to the impact, wires knocked down and power went out to the Pinehurst neighborhood. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the driver to an Everett Hospital in critical condition. The incident disrupted power supply in the immediate area for more than two hours as crews worked on restoration. No other details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
