On Wednesday, one person suffered critical injuries following a traffic collision in Southeast Memphis.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the intersection of Winchester Road and Goodlett Street at about 6:18 p.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle crash. On arrival, medical personnel rushed one person to Regional One with critical injuries.
The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
