On Sunday evening, one person suffered critical injuries following a multi-vehicle accident in Southeast Memphis.
As per the initial information, the five-vehicle pile-up took place at Winchester Road and Clarke Road at about 5:15 p.m. According to the responding officers, one person was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Four other victims were transported to the hospital with non-critical injuries. The identities of the injured victims have not been revealed at this time. The events that have led up to the crash remain unknown. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
