1 person hurt after a single-vehicle accident on Las Vegas Boulevard (Las Vegas, NV)

On early Tuesday, one person suffered injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Las Vegas Boulevard.

As per the initial information, the incident took place at 2:20 a.m. when a person crashed his car into a fixed object in the 2500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, close to Liset Way. The incident led to a water main to break and spill water into Las Vegas Boulevard. The driver did not suffer any serious injuries as a result of the accident.

Officials shut down the Las Vegas Boulevard South for hours near the Circus resort. Las Vegas Valley Water Authority fixed the line break. The road was back open by 6 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
