On Wednesday afternoon, one person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Oakfield Township.
As per the initial information, the bicycle crash took place on Lincoln Lake Avenue at about 3 p.m. The preliminary reports revealed that a vehicle was heading north when it attempted to pass the bicyclist and ended up hitting the bike.
Due to the impact, the bicyclist was sent into a nearby ditch. On arrival, paramedics took the bicycle rider to the hospital with minimal injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
