One person was injured following a traffic accident near I-40 and Soncy Road.
As per the initial information, the wreck took place near I-40 and Soncy Road in which four semi-trucks were involved. The early reports showed that one person was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries. I-40 Westbound remains closed down as of now.
The reports also revealed that about 50 gallons of diesel spilled on the road. TXDOT was requested to provide a sand truck. Crews are currently working to clear the scene. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. No other details are available.
An investigation is underway.
