On Monday night, a vehicle towing a trailer went off The Old Road and crashed into a crowded parking lot in Santa Clarita, causing damage to multiple vehicles.
At about 8:30 p.m. Monday, a single driver hauling a small trailer was involved in a multi-vehicle pile-up at the 25200 block of The Old Road at the In N Out in Stevenson Ranch, as per Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.
“There was a traffic collision that caused a vehicle to strike a tree and several parked cars. Damage was also done to an underground vault and one patient was taken to a hospital,” stated spokesperson Imy McBride.
Damage to an underground vault could result in power outages, as crews work to either replace equipment or prevent further injury. As of 9 p.m. Monday, no outages have been reported, according to the reports. The extent of any injuries as a result of the crash remain undisclosed as of Monday night, according to McBride.
The wreck remains under active review.
