1 person hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in Spring Valley (Spring Valley, CA)

One person received injuries after getting struck by a vehicle Thursday in Spring Valley.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place at about 3:50 a.m. in the 2000 block of Bancroft Drive, close to Rosedale Drive. The early reports showed that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons. The vehicle left the scene before the arrival of responding officials.

The victim, possibly someone who is homeless, was transported to a hospital in unknown condition. Authorities have not provided a description of the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. No other information is available.

The incident remains under active review.
