1 person hospitalized after a vehicle hits a Bossier Parish school bus (Bossier City, LA)

On Monday afternoon, one person suffered injuries when a car slammed into a Bossier Parish school bus.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place in the 600 block of Patton Street off of McDade Street. The preliminary investigation indicated that a bossier parish school bus was struck by a vehicle on Patton Street.

The children in the bus remained unharmed in the accident but the bus was delayed. According to the officials, the children were moved to another bus and parents were notified of the delay. Bus 125 was not badly damaged. The driver of the car that struck the bus was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. No other details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
