1 person hospitalized after a vehicle crashes into an apartment complex in Seattle (Seattle, WA)

On Sunday, one person suffered injuries after a vehicle ran into a building in Seattle.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the 7000 block of Sand Point Way North East, in the Sand Point neighborhood of Seattle at about 12:23 a.m. after getting reports of a single-vehicle crash.

According to the eyewitnesses, the vehicle was heading northbound while having a verbal altercation with a woman on the side of the road. The vehicle then sped away from the altercation when the driver failed to maintain control and plowed into the bottom floor unit of an apartment complex.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local area hospital with unspecified injuries. All occupants of the apartment complex remained unharmed in the accident. At this time, it is unclear whether alcohol contributed to the collision. No other details are made available.

The crash remains under investigation.
