On Wednesday night, one person suffered injuries following a DUI crash on State Route 299.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at about 2:00 p.m. on State Route 299 near Rays Food Place. The preliminary investigation showed that a white Dodge pickup truck and a Dodge Charger crashed into each other in the Fall River Mills/McArthur area.
On arrival, medics took one person to Mayers Medical Hospital with minimal injuries. Officers arrested and booked a woman into Shasta County Jail for driving under the influence. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
