1 person hospitalized after a traffic collision in Long Beach (Long Beach, CA)

One person was hurt following a traffic collision Saturday morning in Long Beach.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at around 10:46 a.m. on northbound 710 Freeway, before the Willow Street exit. The preliminary reports showed that two vehicles collided with each other for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles involved ended up on its side due to the wreck.

On arrival, first responders took one person to a local hospital with minor injuries. The incident led to traffic delays in the area. The CHP assisted with traffic control and closed down two lanes while crews worked at the scene. No other details have been shared.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
