One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident Saturday in Emeryville.
As per the initial information, the scooter crash took place at the intersection of 65th Street and Shellmound Street. The intersection is a few blocks away from the I-80 freeway. The early reports showed that a scooterist was crossing over a lowered train gate arm when it collided with the right side of a moving black sedan.
The person riding scooter is “okay” and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. No further details are available.
The accident remains under investigation.
