1 person hospitalized after a rollover crash in Santa Clarita (Santa Clarita, CA)

One person was injured after a traffic collision Monday afternoon in Santa Clarita.

As per the initial information, the rollover crash was reported at about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Copper Hill Drive and Courtland Way. Authorities responded to the location at 5:34 p.m. The early reports showed that a car flipped over for unknown reasons, leaving one person pinned inside.

One person had to be freed from the car by emergency responders, and taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. No other major injuries were reported. The identity of the victim has not been released. No additional details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
