On early Thursday morning, one person suffered injuries following a rear-end collision in the city of Norwalk.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 1:33 a.m. on the Southbound 605 Freeway. The early reports showed that a vehicle rear-ended a semi, leaving the vehicle wedged under the truck on the 605 Freeway.
On arrival, officials found a vehicle under a semi-truck and the driver was pinned inside. It took around 20 to 30 minutes for firefighters to free the victim from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life. The person was then taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. No further details were provided.
The crash remains under review.
