On Monday afternoon, a 37-year-old man suffered injuries following a motorcycle accident near Everhart Road.
According to the victim’s mother, he struck his motorcycle to a pothole and lost control of his bike. The incident took place shortly before 5 p.m. on South Padre Island Drive (SPID) near Everhart Road.
Authorities only identified the bike rider as a 37-year-old male. The victim went to the hospital with neck and back pain. Officials have not released any other information regarding the crash at this time.
The authorities will continue to investigate the single-vehicle crash.
