On Sunday morning, one person suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident in Vista.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place at the intersection of Emerald Drive and West Vista Way. The early reports showed that a motorcycle was heading northbound on Emerald Drive when it crashed into a vehicle that was going westbound on West Vista Way.
On arrival, emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to Palomar Medical Center where they are undergoing surgery for unspecified injuries. The current condition of the victim is not known at this time. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed.
The driver of the second vehicle did not receive any injuries as a result of the collision. It is unclear whether alcohol or drugs contributed to the accident. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
