On Thursday afternoon, one person suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Bakersfield.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place at the intersection of Planz Road and Agate Street. The early reports showed that a truck was heading east when it crashed into a motorcycle who veered into oncoming traffic turning west onto Planz Road from Agate Street.
On arrival, medical personnel rushed the motorcycle rider to Kern Medical with major injuries. All occupants in the truck remained unharmed in the accident. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed. No other details are immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
