According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a motor vehicle accident was reported in the East Valley on Sunday morning.
The officials stated that a crash occurred on Loop 202 near Elliot Road at around 4:15 a.m.
Officials reported that a vehicle was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway.
The vehicle collided with a commercial vehicle.
Officials reported that one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The police are yet to determine the identity of the victim involved in the crash.
The officials have not cited anyone as of now.
The Arizona DPS provided no additional information regarding the crash.
