1 person hospitalized after a car slams into Bossier City Thrifty Liquor doors (Bossier City, LA)

On Wednesday afternoon, the driver of an SUV smashed through the doors of an Airline Drive liquor store, injuring a woman.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at about 1:20 p.m. at the Thrifty Liquor at 1450 Airline Drive. The preliminary investigation revealed that an older man took his foot off the brake and went through the front doors.

A woman inside was struck in the process. On arrival, emergency crews transported her to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers did not issue any tickets. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
