Authorities responded to a two-vehicle collision in La Quinta on Monday. One person died following the crash.
The accident happened at the intersection of Seeley Drive and Miles avenue at about 9:40 a.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriffs’ department.
Authorities transferred two injured people to a hospital. One victim sustained injuries, and the other died at the hospital. The identities of the person are yet to be identified.
No signs of impairment as reported by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No additional information regarding the wreck has been provided by the authorities.
