The California Highway Patrol responded to a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon. The motorcyclist slammed into an empty logging truck.
The motorcyclist died following the head-on collision.
The details of the victim are yet to be known by the officials.
The collision happened on Highway 299 near Indian Creek Lodge In Douglas City. A crash investigation is being conducted by the California Highway Patrol. A full report of the crash is yet to be provided.
As a result of the investigation and response to the incident, traffic was halted for a short period. No additional information regarding the crash.
