The Scottsdale Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday early morning. The accident happened close to 95th Street and Dynamite.
The collision involved a mountain bike and a truck. The events leading up to the accident are not known at this time.
Police confirmed that a bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Police haven’t confirmed that drugs or alcohol were a factor involved in the collision.
