The Arizona Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash in Phoenix on Thursday morning. The accident happened on Interstate 17 close to Thunderbird Rd.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing I-17, according to ADPS. Just off the road, the man’s body was found by a wall.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and victim of the victim have not been made public yet.
The accident-contributing vehicle fled the scene. According to DPS, there was no immediate information available regarding the vehicle’s description in the fatal crash. The crash is still being investigated by the officials.
