The Glendale Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Thursday evening. The accident happened close to 53rd and Grand Avenues.
A sedan driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with some others at around 7 p.m. Three other people were taken to the hospital while one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, the three victims have serious, potentially fatal injuries. The name and identities of the victims have not been made public yet.
It is unsure what caused the crash whether alcohol or drugs were a factor involved is yet to be found. The fatal crash is being investigated by the police. No other details are available currently.
