The Arizona Public Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash in Fort McDowell on Friday morning. The collision involved two vehicles. The accident happened on SR 87, just two miles from Bush Highway north at around 3 a.m.
According to the police, the 48-year-old driver of a red pickup truck that collided with another vehicle passed away at the scene. The other driver’s condition wasn’t disclosed by the investigators. The victim’s identity is unknown.
The pickup driver was found to be at fault for the collision, but troopers are still looking into what caused it. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
