The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday in Benson. The accident happened on Interstate 10, Benson east, and Dragoon northwest.
The collision involved two vehicles. The vehicle left the road and caught fire.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Three people suffered injuries. The only occupant of the second vehicle was unharmed. The identities of the victims are not yet known at this time.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. Additional details regarding the crash are not available currently.
