According to Special Traffic Investigations, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Monday night in El Paso.
The officials stated that the crash happened at around 5:25 when Jose Luis Pacheco was heading on Gateway North in a 1995 Nissan pickup truck.
The investigation report revealed that Pacheco’s vehicle slowed down and drove off the roadway onto the rock landscape. The vehicle stopped after striking a traffic signal at a slow speed.
Pacheco was found unconscious and was transported to a local hospital by medical services.
Officials reported that Pacheco was declared dead by the authorities.
The Medical Examiner’s office is investigating to determine what caused the fatal crash.
