Michigan State Police are investigating a motor-vehicle crash in Royal Oak that claimed a life.
The crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. when one vehicle collided with another as they exited onto I-75.
According to the officials, the driver was riding at a high rate of speed with no braking.
The person who died in the crash is yet to be identified.
Upon finding the driver unconscious, the first responders transported him to the hospital.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is under review.
