One person was killed after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Victorville.
As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle accident took place at about 12:48 a.m. on Silica Drive and Hesperia Road. The preliminary reports showed that a westbound Ford Explorer struck a westbound bicycle from behind.
Due to the crash, the cyclist was sent into the roadway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. The cause of the crash remains unknown. No other details are available.
The incident remains under investigation.
