Official authorities of Temple are investigating a fatal vehicle accident that took place on the southbound I-35 on Sunday early in the morning.
Officers state that they responded at around 2 AM. to reports of a single-vehicle accident that took place on the Interstate near exit 299. Preliminary investigations state that the vehicle struck the retaining wall near the exit and that this was the cause of the crash.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the incident, according to police.
More details regarding the cause of the accident are awaited. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed at this time.
