One person was killed following a traffic collision Monday morning on 91 Freeway.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 1:06 a.m. on eastbound 91 Freeway, west of McKinley Street. According to an eyewitness, a vehicle in the No. 1 lane hit the motorcyclist who was in the middle lane.
The motorcyclist died as a result of the accident. It is unknown if the driver who struck the motorcycle remained at the scene or not. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
The crash remains under review.
