One person was killed and another sustained critical injuries following a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Tempe.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on Priest Drive. The early reports indicated that the driver was traveling northbound on Priest Drive and near a slight curve at Darrow Drive when they lost control of the bike and slammed into a block wall.
Tempe Fire Medical Rescue quickly responded to the scene to render aid, but the passenger of the motorcycle was declared dead. The motorcycle driver was rushed to the hospital, and is currently listed in critical condition. The identities of the victims have not been released. No other details are available.
The crash remains under review.
