Official reports from the Mesa Police indicate that a motorcyclist was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident in the city on Sunday. The police officials have also stated that the incident took place sometime in the afternoon when a car collided with a motorcycle near Greenfield Road and Main Street and left 1 person dead. The area has since been shut down by officials to complete a traffic investigation.
Investigating officers have not released the name and identity of the deceased motorcyclist, and have also not disclosed any information regarding the cause of the accident as yet. More details regarding signs of impairment are awaited.
