1 person dead after an auto-pedestrian crash in Valley Village (Los Angeles, CA)

On Monday, one person was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the Valley Village neighborhood of Los Angeles within the San Fernando Valley.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident took place at about 8:45 p.m. on Riverside Drive at Colfax. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck one person for reasons that are yet to be known.

On arrival, emergency responders found the pedestrian dead. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene after the collision. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
