1 person dead after an auto-pedestrian crash in Fremont (Fremont, CA)

On Saturday morning, one person died after being hit by a vehicle in Fremont.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at about 12:15 a.m. on Mission Blvd and Sullivan Underpass. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck the victim while they were crossing Mission Blvd and Sullivan Underpass.

The driver of the involved vehicle quickly stopped, called 911 for help and rendered aid to the pedestrian. On arrival, emergency crews also provided medical aid, but the victim was later declared dead. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. No other details are available.

The incident remains under investigation.
