1 person dead after an auto-pedestrian collision in Visalia (Visalia, CA)

On Thursday, one person was killed while two others suffered injuries following a road accident in Visalia.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place just before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Noble Avenue and Mooney Boulevard. The preliminary investigation indicated that the driver of a northbound pickup truck ignored a red light and crashed into a white SUV.

The force of the collision sent the SUV onto the sidewalk where it hit two pedestrians. One of the victims succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The other pedestrian sustained serious injuries and the SUV driver incurred only minimal injuries. No other details are made available.

The incident remains under investigation.
