1 person dead after an auto-pedestrian collision in Jamestown (Jamestown, CA)

On Friday evening, one person was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in Jamestown.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 6 p.m. on Highway 108. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle hit one person for reasons that re yet to be known. The victim succumbed to their injuries after the accident.

The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. It is unknown if the vehicle that struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene or not after the collision. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
