1 person dead after a vehicle runs into a home in La-Crescenta-Montrose (La Crescenta-Montrose, CA)

On Thursday afternoon, one person was killed after a vehicle smashed into a home in La Crescenta-Montrose.

As per the initial information, the fatal solo-vehicle crash took place at approximately 2:05 p.m. in the 2400 block of Janet Lee Drive. The early reports showed that a vehicle, driven by a male driver, drove through a yard and slammed into a home for reasons that are yet to be known. One person was killed as a result of the accident.

It is unknown if someone in the car or in the home died as a result of the collision. No other injuries were reported. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. According to the authorities, the involved vehicle came to a stop between homes. No other information has been provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
