1 person dead after a traffic collision in the Inglewood area (Inglewood, CA)

On early Friday morning, one person died following a motor vehicle accident near LAX in the Inglewood area.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision was reported at approximately 4 a.m. on the 405 Freeway near the Century Boulevard exit. The location on the northbound side of the freeway is east of Los Angeles International Airport.

According to the officials, one person was killed as a result of the crash. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. Lanes were shut down as crews worked at the scene. No additional information has been provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
